I naturally do that while drafting, and have to constantly tell myself that certain facts can come during revisions. I could just as easily say I want to work out every day and write 1k every day, but that's not how I work. I'd rather do an overall wordcount goal and plan out stuff I know I need to do but want some accountability on.Stephscohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06328839483008086049noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6271157837542030455.post-19164599390703297072015-07-06T14:11:36.148-05:002015-07-06T14:11:36.148-05:00Calamity- fun! A three POV story sounds like quite the challenge, but I'm sure you'll do it justice, especially since you're conscious of making each voice distinct. Good luck with your latest goals!Erin L. And I'm intrigued. :-) I can so relate to getting stuck on details when drafting. Sometimes there are things you need to look up ASAP, but the tricky thing is holding off on those things that aren't as pressing. All too often I allow myself to fall down research rabbit holes unnecessarily. From the sounds of it, you did an awesome job with your goals this week, so obviously you didn't get sidetracked by research. Hope this is another productive week!Jaime Morrowhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03023932422477544525noreply@blogger.com
